Must Reads: ISIS

My “Must Read” pages are a collection of links to third-party content (mostly articles) that I consider to be essential reading on any given topic. If you know of any content that is appropriate, but that does not appear here, please send me a link in the comments below.

This one is a classic, and is important to watch on so many levels. For me, the most relevant take away is that we really need to be weary of bias in media, and need to learn to identify fact from ill-informed opinion. Also, these presenters come off as real ignorant idiots. It is difficult to imagine them recovering any respect from their audience.

If you are confused about what is actually going on in Syria, rest assured that I think everyone else is too. This is a 5 minute primer that introduces the origin of the Syrian civil war, which is one fo teh driving forces of ISIS. It’s a must-watch.
